Mason porcelain is a famous ceramic brand produced by the influence of Chinese porcelain in Europe, known as "Europe's first porcelain", and its appearance has profoundly influenced the establishment of other European porcelain brands and kilns. The exhibition displays more than 100 representative pieces of Mason porcelain, including decorative vases in the style of the Universal Exposition, characteristic figure statues, exquisite ornaments in the Rococo style and other European brand porcelain influenced by Mason porcelain, fully demonstrating the beauty and brilliance of "Europe's first porcelain".Since the introduction of Chinese porcelain to Europe, the love for porcelain has never faded in this land. The birth of Mason porcelain inspired the emergence of more European porcelain kilns. From imitating oriental styles to creating mason styles, and then to unique styles, various styles bloom and compete for beauty, which has effectively promoted the vigorous development of the European porcelain industry. Civilizations are enriched by exchanges and by mutual learning. The integration and collision of different cultures between the East and the West have created the magnificent Mason porcelain, showing the important role of porcelain as a friendly messenger of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. Let us use porcelain as a medium to jointly feel the richness and diversity of Chinese and Western cultures in exchanges and mutual learning, appreciate the charming style of Western porcelain pioneers, and let us walk into Changzhou Museum together to a visual feast of European ceramic craft culture.
